Marco grew up with coffee-growing parents and studied agronomy, but spent many years in an office job in La Paz.
Inspired by the booming Bolivian coffee industry since 2019, he returned to his roots and started his own finca, named Genesis after his daughter, symbolizing new beginnings. Marco involves his children in his coffee work, with his daughter expressing a desire to follow in his footsteps.
Now president of his cooperative, Marco dreams of visiting Colombia to learn more about coffee fermentations and hopes to provide his children with a strong foundation in the coffee industry.
